Two films are interlinked with each other as far as release dates are concerned. They are Rajamouli’s “RRR” and Koratala Siva’s “Acharya”.
The common factor between them is Ram Charan. While Rajamouli’s patriotic drama has Ram Charan as one of the lead heroes, Koratala Siva’s movie portrays Charan in the key role of a student leader.
Megastar Chiranjeevi recently informed media that the release date of “Acharya” depends on the progress of Rajamouli’s movie.
If lockdown further gets extended and shootings are not permitted in June or July, both Rajamouli and Koratala have to work out on their plan of action.
“RRR” is slated for January 8, 2020 release but Rajamouli said he will not commit to this date at this moment. He also hinted that the film will have a new date depending on the government's permissions.
Both Koratala and Rajamouli have to come to an understanding about the release dates of their respective movies and dates of Ram Charan.
They will meet and discuss once the shootings are allowed.
