There have been no new releases in the movie theaters from the past four weeks and the same scenario would continue for many more weeks.
Digital platforms (OTT) have now become the main source of entertainment and the streaming companies are lining up big releases to attract subscribers and grow their base.

Streaming NOW - World Famous Lover (SunNXT, Netflix)
‘World Famous Lover’ starring Vijay Deverakonda is now streaming. Directed by Kranthi Madhav was a colossal flop at the box-office. Raashi Khanna, Isabelle, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Catherine played the female lead.
April 17 - Aswathama (SunNXT), Kanulu Kanulu Dochayante (Netflix)
Naga Shaurya starrer ‘Aswathama’ is a thriller with a different concept. It can make a decent watch on the digital platform. It was Naga Shaurya’s first film as a scriptwriter as well. Dulqar Salmaan’s ‘Kanulu Kanulu Dochayante’ will also be available on Netflix. This was a sleeper hit and won good praise from the urban audiences.
April 27 - Bheeshma (SunNXT)
The super hit ‘Bheeshma’ is also will available for home viewing from 27th April. The romantic entertainer was a laugh riot. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the movie put Nithin’s career on the path of success. Rashmika Mandanna’s glamour is another attraction.
Apart from these Telugu movies, several interesting Bollywood and international films will be available in the coming days.
April 17
Netflix has lined up an international catalog of movies. ‘Sergio’, ‘Rising High’, ‘The Legacy of Bones’, and ‘Earth and Blood’ will stream on 17th April. Also, check out Malayalam's dark comedy ‘Vikrithi’ on the same platform.
From the Indian catalog, we can watch Bollywood gay comedy-drama ‘Shubh Mangal Jyaada Saavdhan’ on Amazon Prime.
April 20
The recent Hollywood blockbuster ‘Joker’ that amassed whopping $1 billion worldwide is available on Prime Video. Watch out for Joaquin Phoenix as the joker, the role fetched him Oscar as the Best Actor for his specular performance.
April 22
Netflix will continue to add more international features this month. On April 22nd, ‘The Willoughbys’, ‘The Silence of the Marsh’, ‘Circus of Books’, ‘The Plagues of Breslau’ will stream.
April 24
Taapsee starrer ‘Thappad’ which won rave reviews will stream on Prime Video while ‘Extraction’ will be available on Netflix. Taapsee’s film focused on a relevant topic.
April 30
‘Dangerous Lies’, and ‘Rich In Love’ will be available on Netflix.
May 1
Hotstar is finally adding some masala to streaming platforms. Current Bollywood sensational hero Tiger Shroff’s super hit ‘Bhaaghi 3’ will be available on that platform. Netflix will add ‘The Half of It’.
May 7
Other recent Bollywood movie that made some noise is ‘Malang’. This movie will stream on Netflix.
