Shot on a lavish scale with a high budget, director Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s period drama “Pushpa” is one of the most eagerly awaited movies.
The makers had decided to split the movie into two parts during the second lockdown. Now, the shooting is going on for the first part.
They have suddenly faced a big dilemma. Rajamouli’s “RRR” is going ahead with the original release plans. “RRR” is scheduled to hit the screens Dussera festival.
So, all other biggies like “KGF 2”, “Acharya”, “Ayyapanum Koshiyum Remake” have moved to Christmas and Sankranthi 2022 season.
Mahesh Babu’s “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” is also releasing for the Sankranthi festival. “Pushpa” cannot compete with these biggies.
The makers are left with not many choices. Will they release it for the Deepavali festival or postpone it to summer 2022?
“Pushpa” stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil as the lead cast. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the movie.
