Pushpa 2 Vs Prasadz: Hidden Reason Behind

Pushpa 2 Vs Prasadz: Hidden Reason Behind

It is known that the prestigious Prasad Multiplex did not screen 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' at all.

This is the first time a big-ticket film has not been released at Prasad Multiplex, marking a failed negotiation between the distributors of Pushpa 2 and the multiplex owner.

Typically, Prasad Multiplex shares 52% of the collections with distributors, which has been the standard practice. However, the Pushpa 2 distributors demanded 55%, citing higher ticket prices and a desire to maximize earnings.

The management of Prasad Multiplex disagreed, explaining that they don't earn significant profits from snacks and drinks, unlike other multiplex chains. They stated that they could not afford to lose 3% of revenue from box office collections.

Despite this, the distributors did not agree to the terms and warned Prasadz that their film would not be screened. However, Prasad Multiplex stood firm and chose not to screen the film, even at the risk of missing out on a phenomenal opportunity.

The Prasadz management's primary concern was that if they conceded this time, it would set a precedent, leading other distributors to demand the same terms, thereby undermining their business model.

Prasad Multiplex is the only prestigious multiplex in the twin cities known for providing best movie watching experience and also making quality snacks and beverages available during the interval at reasonable prices that many can afford.

Moreover, this multiplex has been a favorite for the entire industry, hosting numerous premieres of big films over the decades.

'Pushpa 2' distributors would have typically dealt softly and respectfully with Prasad's owner, Ramesh Prasad, as many in the industry, film media, and regular film buffs believe.
