He said records are meant to be broken, but he added that the love shown by the North Indian audiences will remain forever in his heart. He thanked all Indians for celebrating the movie.
There’s no denying that the Hindi version of “Pushpa 2” is a roaring success and brought profits to all the buyers. But the Telugu version is facing a tricky problem.
The Telugu version, by the end of the first week, collected 50 to 60 percent of revenue. The distributors now need to recover more than 40 percent.
The film must perform strongly this weekend to achieve this. So, the next three days are crucial for the film’s run in Telugu states.
Analysts say none of the distributors in Telugu will see any profits if the situation don't see what is desired.
If the film doesn't perform exceptionally well in the upcoming days, some distributors may barely break even, while others may experience losses exceeding 20%.
On Day 8, the Telugu version recorded a collection of 9.4 cr gross, which is low. However, with the hiked ticket prices, the figures are holding steady for now at this level.
In the coming days, especially during the weekend, if the film manages to make a good collection, the Telugu version distributors may finally get some relief.
