'Pushpa 2' Aims to Break Prabhas's Record

'Pushpa 2' Aims to Break Prabhas's Record

"Pushpa 2," starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, is one of the most highly anticipated Indian films in recent times.

The film is generating immense buzz and has the potential to break nearly all existing records at the Indian box office.

Specifically, the Hindi dubbed version could challenge Prabhas's dominance in the Hindi market, as this eagerly awaited sequel has the potential to surpass the milestones achieved by the "Darling" star.

It is well-established that Prabhas is currently the biggest superstar from the South in the Hindi market.

From "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" to "Kalki 2898 AD," Prabhas has consistently demonstrated his strong box office appeal, with only "Radhe Shyam" failing to perform well.

Compared to his contemporaries, he is far ahead, and surpassing him in terms of stardom is no easy feat.

However, Allu Arjun has a golden opportunity to challenge Prabhas's incredible dominance with just one film. For those who may not know, Prabhas holds two key milestones that keep him at the top in terms of box office success.

The first is the opening day collection of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (Hindi), which was an impressive 41 crores back in 2017.

Additionally, the lifetime collection of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (Hindi) is another significant milestone for Prabhas.

The film grossed 511 crores, making it the only Hindi dubbed film from the South to enter the 500 crore club. These two achievements have kept Prabhas at the pinnacle of the Hindi market.

Given the genuine excitement among audiences, "Pushpa 2" (Hindi) is expected to easily surpass the opening day collection of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" (Hindi).

Surpassing the lifetime collection of 511 crores, however, will depend entirely on the film's content. If the sequel resonates well with the masses, it could easily surpass "Baahubali 2's" lifetime earnings.

Currently, Ram Charan and Shankar's 'Game Changer' has no significant buzz, and there is little expectation that it will compete with 'Baahubali 2.'

Similarly, Ram Charan's upcoming film with Buchibabu is also a pan-Indian project, but it lacks strong expectations since Buchibabu is not yet regarded as a director capable of delivering a pan-Indian hit.

Next in line is NTR's film with Prashanth Neel, which is slated for release in 2026. Thus, the immediate film that has the potential to compete with 'Baahubali 2' is 'Pushpa 2.'

Therefore, it can be said that Allu Arjun has a real chance to challenge Prabhas's incredible dominance in the Hindi market of India.
