Pushpa 2: 3rd Biggest Indian Film By Surpassing RRR

Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its historic run at the worldwide box office, shattering records with ease.

After joining the ₹1000 crore club in record time, the film effortlessly crossed the ₹1100 crore, ₹1200 crore, and ₹1300 crore milestones.

By the end of its second weekend, it emerged as the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time, surpassing the lifetime collections of KGF Chapter 2 and RRR.

The sequel to Pushpa is enjoying an unprecedented dream run, setting benchmarks that will be tough to match. In its extended 8-day first week, the magnum opus amassed ₹1085.77 crore gross globally.

The momentum carried into the second weekend, starting with ₹51.25 crore on its second Friday (Day 9), followed by ₹86.34 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, the film reached a new high, earning over ₹100 crore in a single day.

On Day 11, Pushpa 2 raked in ₹89.68 crore gross in India, while overseas collections added another ₹12 crore, taking the global Day 11 total to ₹101.68 crore gross—the highest-ever global single-day collection for an Indian film on its second Sunday.

By the end of the second weekend, the film's total global collection stands at ₹1327.04 crore gross, with ₹1077.04 crore gross (₹912.75 crore net) from India and ₹250 crore gross from overseas markets.

With this staggering figure, Pushpa 2 has surpassed KGF Chapter 2 (₹1230 crore gross) and RRR (₹1275.51 crore gross), claiming the second spot in the list of highest-grossing Indian films globally.

Now, only two films remain ahead—Dangal with ₹1970 crore gross and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion with ₹1800 crore gross.

Given its current trajectory, the Allu Arjun-starrer is poised to surpass Baahubali 2 in the coming weeks, cementing its legacy as one of the greatest blockbusters in Indian cinema.
