Director Puri Jagannadh never likes to sit idle. He gets frustrated if he gets more free time. He always prefers to be busy with movie shootings and writing scripts.
Puri Jagannadh is one of the few directors in Tollywood who finishes a movie in a short time.
He began shooting a boxing drama with Vijay Deverakonda after the Sankranthi festival and had wrapped up a 40-days lengthy schedule in Mumbai.
He had planned another big schedule in April. But lockdown has made him sit at home.
As things stand today, he cannot resume the new schedule for another month. He is now writing a script for another hero during this self-quarantine period.
On the other hand, he has not decided about the release date for this movie with Vijay Deverakonda. He will wait till Megastar ‘Acharya’ announces its official date and Prabhas’s new movie.
Puri is looking at the Dussera period to release the movie but he has to wait till things settle down before finalizing the date.
In recent photos, Vijay Deverakond showed us his well-built biceps. He underwent rigorous training to get a physical transformation of his body to look like a boxer. He plays a professional boxer in the film. Ananya Panday is the heroine.
'Fighter' and 'Liger' are the two names that are under consideration for this movie.
