Puri Jagannadh's Camp With Crossed Fingers

Puri Jagannadh's Camp With Crossed Fingers

Puri Jagannadh is one of the most successful directors with a huge mass following in Telugu cinema.

However, his last film, Liger, which was released on a pan-Indian scale, failed miserably, affecting him greatly. No big hero showed interest in listening to the stories from this director.

Finally, he turned to Ram Pothineni, with whom he made iSmart Shankar earlier, and scored a hit. Not leaving the franchise, he made a sequel titled Double iSmart, which is set to release on August 15th.

Puri Jagannadh's camp is waiting anxiously. If this film succeeds, they may have more work soon, as some big heroes might line up to work with Puri Jagannadh. However, if it fails to attract the audience, many in Puri's camp may face unemployment.

This uncertainty has led some people working with Puri to express their concerns to close friends within the industry. We need to see what is in store for them after August 15th.

So far, there hasn't been a strong pull factor for this film, except for a couple of songs, "Maar Muntha Chod Chinta" and "Steppamaar," which have garnered some decent views online. But these alone may not be enough to draw the general public and movie buffs.

We have to wait and see if the film gains traction towards its release.
