The makers of “Pushpa” are celebrating the massive openings. “We are in celebration mode,” said producer Naveen Yerneni. Although the film opened strongly, it received criticism for technical glitches.
The film had faulty sound mixing. In many places, the dialogue was inaudible. The film’s prints were sent to the theaters just a day before the release.
They could not send it to Kerala, and the Malayalam version's release got delayed. It was because director Sukumar and his technical team kept on doing their work until a day before the release.
Without a doubt, the film was a ‘rushed product’.
Agreeing that they made a mistake, Naveen said the release of the second part would be planned.
“The second part will resume shooting in March 2022. But one thing I can say, we will complete all production works at least two months before the release date. I assure you of that,“ he said.
Directed by Sukumar, “Pushpa The Rise” received mixed reactions from the audiences and critics alike. Allu Arjun, however, won high praise for his performance.
