Prasanth Varma, reportedly struggling with depression after the abrupt cancellation of two of his films, is now planning to shift his focus to the pre-production of the sequel to Jai Hanuman.
The young director, who generated significant buzz with his earlier projects following the massive success of Hanu Man earlier this year, has faced several setbacks recently.
Initially, Ranveer Singh backed out of a planned film, followed by Balakrishna canceling the launch of his son Mokshagna's debut project, which Prasanth was set to direct.
The cancellation of Mokshagna’s debut film came as a major blow to the director.
Although Prasanth previously hinted at securing Prabhas for a big project, sources now suggest that this collaboration is unlikely to materialize anytime soon.
With limited options, Prasanth has decided to concentrate on Jai Hanuman, the sequel to Hanu Man. However, this project depends on Kannada star Rishab Shetty’s availability.
Rishab Shetty is set to portray Lord Hanuman in the sequel, while Teja Sajja will reprise his role from the original film. Fans eagerly await further updates on this highly anticipated project.
