Mumbai: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘ Saaho’ has been in the news ever since the film was announced.
After a huge hype, the film released in theatres on August 30 and since then it has been garnering immense praise from all sides. Now, if the latest reports are anything to go by, the film is already a hit in Hindi.
According to a report in BoxofficeIndia.com, ‘Saaho’ collected Rs 3.50 crore nett on its second Friday, taking the overall collection to Rs 118.50 crore.
The collections were affected due to heavy rains in Mumbai and major cities. On the other hand, the film wasn't released on a holiday and still managed to earn healthy collections.
The film is a solid HIT and could even turn out to be the best this year after Kabir Singh , Uri - The Surgical and Mission Mangal.
'Saaho' released in four languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam across 8,500 plus screens in the country.
However, the report stated that the South versions of the film are finding it difficult to pull the audience to the theatres.
The film also stars Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. This is the first time Shraddha and Prabhas have paired up for a movie.
Directed by Sujeeth, the film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi, Murali Sharma, Evelyn Sharma and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles.
