In anticipation of the grand pre-release event of his upcoming magnum opus Adipurush, Prabhas visited the Tirupati Balaji temple in the early hours of Tuesday to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji.
The event, scheduled for Tuesday evening, will have Chinna Jeeyar Swamy as the chief guest. Pictures of Prabhas' temple visit have surfaced on social media platforms, creating a buzz among fans.
Several pictures shared on Twitter captured Prabhas posing with his team and standing alongside police officers. He was seen smiling as he rode in a cart. Upon his arrival at the temple, Prabhas greeted his fans and the paparazzi.
He was dressed in a white kurta and dhoti, and he received a red shawl at the temple, which he draped around himself. Before leaving the venue, the actor smiled and waved at his fans.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is a modern-day adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Prabhas portrays the character of Raghava, while Kriti Sanon plays the role of Janaki. The movie is set to release on June 16.
Om Raut, who is collaborating with Prabhas for the first time in this project, has previously expressed that he believes no one other than Prabhas could have essayed the role in this high-budget adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayan.
Prabhas' visit to seek blessings ahead of the Adipurush event has only further endeared him to his fans, who consider him a man with a heart of gold.
