It’s been a remarkable year for Prabhas, who recently delivered Kalki 2898 AD, the fourth highest-grossing film in India.
The celebrations continue as Hombale Films announced a three-film deal with the South superstar, kicking off with Salaar 2. Curious about the salary he's earning for this collaboration?
Hombale Films, the powerhouse behind Kantara, KGF, KGF Chapter 2, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, has officially partnered with Prabhas for Salaar 2. The three-film deal, announced on Friday, is set for releases in 2026, 2027, and 2028.
According to sources, Prabhas will earn a staggering 600 crores for the three films, with a record-breaking fee of 200 crores per film—the highest salary ever paid to an Indian star.
Prabhas is undeniably one of India’s most bankable actors. He already has three films on the list of India’s top 10 highest-grossing movies: Baahubali 2, Kalki 2898 AD, and Baahubali.
The upcoming projects promise excitement, especially with top directors like Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prashant Varma potentially in the mix, setting the stage for future blockbusters.
Earlier reports suggested that Allu Arjun is earning a staggering 260 crores for Pushpa: The Rule, including a profit-sharing deal. In contrast, Prabhas's payment appears to be a flat base salary, setting a new standard for Indian cinema deals.
Professionally, Prabhas is also working on Spirit with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
