In a sudden development, Posani Krishna Murali was arrested today by the Anantapur police. They traveled to Hyderabad and took him into custody.
Posani had already announced his decision to quit politics and had remained silent, yet he was still arrested.
Posani’s wife stated that her husband was unwell, but despite this, the Anantapur police proceeded with the arrest. Further health tests will be conducted under their supervision.
Many in political circles firmly believe that this move is an attempt to appease Pawan Kalyan.
Recently, reports emerged that Pawan Kalyan was upset for a brief period and even refrained from speaking to Chandrababu Naidu.
When efforts were made to pacify him, he allegedly questioned why Posani, Sri Reddy, and RGV had not been arrested yet.
However, over the past few days, Pawan Kalyan has been displaying a cordial relationship with Chandrababu Naidu and even praised him in the Assembly.
Unlike before, he is no longer making critical remarks about the ruling government’s Home Ministry. Insiders reveal that the authorities have clarified that actions are already underway to make certain arrests that would please him.
Many believe that Posani’s arrest is part of this strategy, as he had previously targeted Pawan Kalyan with personal attacks, even holding a press conference at the Press Club a few years ago.
Another source says that the GV Reddy issue resulted in TDP social media attacking TDP bosses; to divert and satisfy them, they made arrests.
Now, insiders suggest that RGV might be the next target. Although an arrest was reportedly planned, when the AP police visited RGV’s office, they did not proceed with it.
Speculations suggest that the case against him might be weak, or he may have influential connections protecting him.
