Police to move SC for Arjun bail cancellation

The Hyderabad police are preparing to approach the Supreme Court to seek the cancellation of interim bail granted to Telugu film star Allu Arjun, according to senior officials in the police department.

The Telangana High Court had earlier granted interim bail to Allu Arjun in connection with the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, which resulted in the death of a woman.

However, police sources confirmed that fresh evidence has emerged during the ongoing investigation, prompting the authorities to take the matter to the Supreme Court for further action.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand and Health Secretary Dr. Christina visited KIMS Hospital to assess the health condition of nine-year-old Sri Tej, the son of the stampede victim, who remains critically injured.

After speaking with the doctors, Commissioner Anand revealed that Sri Tej’s condition remains critical as his brain has been severely damaged due to suffocation during the stampede.

The boy is currently on ventilator support, and the doctors have indicated that his treatment will be prolonged. Anand also stated that a medical bulletin regarding Sri Tej’s condition will soon be released.

Health Secretary Dr. Christina emphasized that the government is closely monitoring Sri Tej’s health and expressed hope for his recovery.

The KIMS medical team, Central Zone DCP Akshamsh Yadav, and other officials were also present during the visit.
