Meenakshi Chaudhary is one of the lead actresses in Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi's wholesome entertainer, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, where Aishwarya Rajesh plays the other heroine.
It is known that Venkatesh portrays an ex-cop, and Meenakshi plays his first love during her training days at the Police Academy. The actress expresses how fortunate she feels to have landed such a role at the beginning of her career.
“It’s like a dream come true for me to play a cop, and I feel lucky that this role came early in my career. I didn’t take any specific references. My dad is an army officer, so I had some idea about an officer’s body language. I also did some homework on my own,” says Meenakshi.
The actress also shares her delightful experience working with Venkatesh. “Venkatesh is a wonderful human being, and you can always see happiness in him. His comic timing is amazing,” she adds.
Meenakshi was full of praise for director Anil Ravipudi. “Anil’s comedy timing is fantastic. It’s not easy to create comedy. You need to think spontaneously to enhance the scene. His ideas for improving scenes are brilliant,” she says.
The film, presented by Dil Raju and produced by Shirish, will have its trailer launched on January 6th.
