Actress Amala Paul exchanged vows with her boyfriend Jagat Desai in a private ceremony held in Kochi today.
The wedding unfolded at a luxurious hotel in Kochi, witnessed by close family members and dear friends.
The radiant bride, Amala, donned an elegant lavender lehenga, while her groom, Jagat, looked dashing in a sherwani of the same hue.
Their engagement had been announced on October 26, following Jagat's heartfelt proposal to Amala on her birthday celebration in Goa.
A video shared by the couple on Instagram showcased a memorable moment during their vacation—a lively flash mob dance performance at a restaurant.
As the dancers encouraged Jagat to join, he showcased his dance moves to an amused Amala, who was adorned in a stunning pink outfit.
In the midst of the dance performance, Jagat took a romantic step, getting down on one knee and proposing to Amala with a ring, accompanied by the excitement of flying confetti. Overwhelmed with joy, Amala accepted his proposal with a loving kiss.
It's worth noting that Amala was previously married to director AL Vijay. The couple tied the knot on June 12, 2014, in Chennai.
However, in 2016, Amala and Vijay filed for divorce due to disagreements with her in-laws regarding her acting career. Their divorce was finalized in 2017.
