Today, it’s birth anniversary of veteran Telugu actor-filmmaker G Vijaya Nirmala who passed away on 27th July, 2019.
Vijaya Nirmala’s son actor Naresh has setup his mom’s Bronze statue at their residence in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad.
On her birth anniversary, the bronze statue will be unveiled by superstar Krishna. Mahesh Babu also attends the event.
Vijaya Nirmala was born in Tamil Nadu. Her father had worked as sound engineer in films.
She made her debut at the age of seven as a child artiste with a Tamil movie Machcha Rekhai (1950). She debuted in the Telugu industry in the film Rangula Ratnam.
Vijaya Nirmala directed 46 films in Telugu. She entered the Guinness Book of Records as the female director of the most films in 2012.
She in 2008 received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for her contributions to Telugu cinema.
