Pawan Kalyan is no more a 'power star'?

All these days, popular Tollywood hero-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has been carrying the tag of “power star” on the lines of “megastar” used to refer his eldest brother Chiranjeevi.

Pawan Kalyan has been carrying this “power star” tag even after he became a politician heading a political party – Jana Sena. In fact, “PSPK” (Power Star Pawan Kalyan) has become an addiction for his fans in the Telugu states.

But now it may not continue anymore. According to the latest gossip in the Telugu film industry, Pawan Kalyan has decided to get rid of this power star tag.

He is learnt to have asked the film industry people and also his fans not to use the words “Power Star” before his name hereafter.

This is really a shocking news for millions of Pawan Kalyan’s fans, as they used to feel energetic in using the words “power star” while raising slogans during his film functions.

In fact, story-writer Vijayendra Prasad openly announced that he had incorporated a scene in the blockbuster film Bahubabli, wherein the people raise slogans – “Baahu Bali,” upon the entry of the protagonist of the film Prabhas, only taking inspiration from the slogan shouting by Pawan Kalyan fans calling him “power star.”

So, why Pawan has decided to give up such a powerful slogan of “power star” has remained a puzzle. One wonders whether Pawan is of the view that this power stag was coming in the way of his growth as a true and comprehensive political leader.

But the fact is that such a slogan would help him remain a mass leader. So, there must be a different reason for Pawan to relinquish this power star tag.

Has he become philosophical or is it a sort of renunciation?
