Opinion: YCP's Confidence And TDP's Hope For 2024 Election

General Elections are just two years ahead. There are discussions about which party is going to grab power this time in Andhra Pradesh.

There are mixed opinions on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy getting the power again. A considerable section of people are not so happy with Jagan Mohan Reddy's government in spite of distributing Rs 1.3 lakh in the name of various schemes. This can be known by taking random opinions from the general working class public.

But the YCP supporters say- "TDP is not in a position even to stand up on its feet. The party cadre is dull in grassroot level due to the lack of proper leadership. They are completely upset with Lokesh Naidu and he is the main reason for killing the hope of the entire TDP cadre. Moevere TDP never contested with its solo might. If Janasena, TDP and BJP contest individually, then the vote split results in YCP getting the power again".

But TDP supporters have a different opinion.

They say "Our party is going to get into aggressive action from this April onwards. All these years we waited to allow the YCP government to commit more mistakes and now we will get into rastarokos, dharnas and public meetings more aggressively than ever".

The TDP supporters still believe that they will get the power due to anti incumbency. They say that the people are shivering to vote for YSRCP as they firmly believe that the government is messing up with every section of society. They also believe that it is wrong to say that TDP is weak in grassroot level.

So, with these opinions we have to see what happens down the line. By the way, there is a bi-election pending in Atmakur constituency of Late Mekapati Gautham Reddy. Can TDP boldly contest for this seat or as usual plays safe and leaves it to the family member of the deceased? That has to be waited and seen.
