This raises questions- why such persistence, and what fuels Revanth Reddy’s resolve to act so firmly? Speculations abound, with some rooted in truth and others likely exaggerated.
One rumor points to the portrayal of an IPS officer being insulted by Pushparaj in Pushpa 2, where he throws the officer into a swimming pool and urinating. This depiction reportedly angered the IPS community, with many perceiving it as an insult against their service. The Sandhya stampede incident seemed to provide a pretext for action.
Another popular theory suggests that Allu Arjun's misstep at a movie success meet, where he forgot to mention Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s name, has fueled tension. The government reportedly views the Pushpa team as ungrateful, despite granting them benefits like higher ticket rates and extra shows.
Adding to this, the stampede death is another issue which created public uproar and propelled Allu Arjun's arrest.
Meanwhile, provocative comments from Bunny’s fans against Revanth Reddy on social media have drawn further ire and cases were booked on them too.
Political interference, too, has deepened the rift. Criticism from opposition parties like the BRS and BJP has heightened Revanth’s determination. Their statements further provoked Revanth Reddy.
It is fact that in the political arena, power—not popularity—remains the ultimate authority.
It is rumored that Revanth Reddy is deeply upset with the perceived carelessness and lack of gratitude from the film industry, despite his government allowing ticket price hikes and midnight benefit shows—privileges that were reportedly absent during the 10 years of BRS rule.
Adding to this, rumors suggest that Allu Arjun displayed a high-handed attitude toward the police during his arrest, which allegedly caught Revanth Reddy’s attention and further fueled the tension.
In the midst of this, Allu Aravind is reportedly working to diffuse the situation by tactfully addressing the issues involved and managing the situation in a manner that preserves goodwill on all sides.
We have to see where it ends and the government appears to be keen on detaining Allu Arjun in this case taking the issue to Supreme Court as well.
Here the speculations are many and the actual facts are unknown. We need to see what is in store to unfold.
