The failure of “Mr. Bachchan” has not only put director Harish Shankar in a difficult position but also angered producer TG Vishwa Prasad over the negative reception.
Recent media reports have further strained the relationship between the director and producer.
In response, TG Vishwa Prasad quickly took to social media to mitigate the situation, stating that Harish Shankar is first and foremost a friend, and the failure of a movie does not justify making such remarks.
He also mentioned that he was happy to work with Harish Shankar and that the film taught them many lessons.
Harish Shankar promptly retweeted TG Vishwa Prasad’s post, expressing that he knew the producer would not make such comments and that he hopes to collaborate again in the future.
However, the main challenge for both TG Vishwa Prasad and Harish Shankar is that they need to deliver hits with their upcoming projects.
TG Vishwa Prasad has major productions in the works, such as Prabhas's "The Raja Saab," but he must also acknowledge that many of their recent films have failed at the box office.
For Harish Shankar, another remake, “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” is ready to go into production. But the question remains: how long can he continue with the same “tweaks and changes” approach to remake projects?
