Popular young Tollywood hero N T Rama Rao appears to be not averse to returning to politics, at an appropriate time.
He dropped enough hints to this effect while talking to the reporters on the occasion of the launch of a realty show in a popular Telugu television channel show.
During his informal chat with the media, a reporter asked NTR straightaway as to when he was making a re-entry into politics.
Obviously expecting this question, NTR said: “I know you will ask this question. You only should answer your own question.”
When journalists, who were obviously embarrassed, told him they didn’t know the answer, NTR did not leave them.
“At least, you tell me what answer you are expecting from me to this question,” he asked them.
A journalist replied that NTR’s answer could be: “it is not an appropriate time and occasion to answer such a question.”
A smilingly young actor said: “Yes, that is my answer. We shall discuss about such issues later leisurely over a cup of coffee.”
Though NTR did not give any clarity on his political entry, he did not even deny it either categorically.
By saying: “we shall discuss about it later,” NTR has obviously left a choice to his fans to guess about his political entry.
Naturally, it is bad news and also frightening news, for Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh, who have been the stumbling block for NTR’s political entry because of their insecurity feeling.
It may be mentioned that during Naidu’s visit to his own constituency Kuppam, the TDP leaders made a big demand stating that he should bring in NTR into politics and give him the responsibility to campaign for the party in the elections.
This led to the talk that NTR might enter politics, if not tomorrow, but at least in the coming years. If NTR enters active politics, it’s time for Lokesh to pack his bags and return to his business ventures.
