The shooting of Jailer 2, the sequel to the blockbuster Jailer, has officially begun.
While superstar Rajinikanth has yet to join the shoot, director Nelson Dilipkumar has started filming sequences with other actors in the first schedule.
The first schedule is expected to wrap up by the final week of March, after which the team will move to Kerala. Rajinikanth is likely to join the shoot either during the Kerala schedule or at a later stage.
In the first installment, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada veteran Shiva Rajkumar made special appearances.
For Jailer 2, Nelson Dilipkumar is reportedly planning to bring in a Telugu star for a key role.
There is speculation that the director is considering NTR or Nandamuri Balakrishna, depending on their availability.
