NTR Charged $10 From Me And My Brother: Ganesh

Young hero Ganesh is debuting with Swathimuthyam that was made under Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments banner.

The film’s theatrical trailer was released yesterday and it got superb response. It gave an impression that Swathimuthyam will be a perfect choice for families among all the releases during Dasara.

Ganesh in his exclusive interview with greatandhra.com reveals it’s his choice to do films on other banners.

“I want to make mark of my own. Since my brother is doing commercial movies, I’m picking unique stories.”

About the core point in Swathimuthyam, he informs, “A unique point was discussed in the movie. Actually, families feel embarrassed to discuss this point. How they resolve, when this point arises in a middle-class family forms crux of the story. However, we told the story in lighter vein. Lakshman dealt it convincingly.”

Ganesh got good marks for his performance in the trailer.

“The protagonist in the film is very pure at heart and is an innocent character. We usually call an innocent person Swathimuthyam. We thought it will connect easily to public. Of course, there is sarcasm in the word as well.”

The young hero informs he knew his producer Vamsi since 2014.

“Vamsi anna wanted to introduce me and I was also happy to work under the leading banner. He’s a passionate filmmaker. Chinababu garu also assured to make a good movie with me. Since the story is set in middle-class family, I and Lakshman wanted to make it in limited budget. But Vamsi allocated more budget than what it required.”

Actually, Ganesh was supposed to make his debut with other film under Pavan Sadineni’s direction, but it was put on hold.

“We completed 40% of the shoot. But we put it on hold, due to covid. The film was supposed to be shot in USA for 20 days. I’m ready to complete the movie and I didn’t commit any other project, after my other movie Nenu Student Sir which is also getting ready for release. I will also wait for two months for them, after release of these two movies.”

The young hero recalled an incident, when he first went to a film sets.

“I was 6, when I first entered a movie set. It was NTR’s Aadi. Songs of the movie were shot in Australia and NTR anna charged $10 each from me and my annayya to teach how to read time in a watch.”
