Nagarjuna's out-and-out family entertainer Naa Saami Ranga directed by Vijay Binni under Srinivasa Silver Screen is up for release in a couple of days.
The film’s shoot was wrapped up at jet speed. “Naa Saami Ranga is not the fastest movie shot in terms of working days. We have completed many films in 35 days. We shot Naa Saami Ranga for 72 days. I took part in the shoot for 60 days. If the pre-production work is done properly, it is possible to wrap up movies at such a fast pace.
We have done very good pre-production work for this film. We are lucky to have a music director like MM Keeravani. He gave three songs before the shooting started. We shot a fight based on the background music. Keeravani is one of the reasons why the movie was shot so fast and on such a large scale.”
Nagarjuna reveals that the main story takes place in 3 festival days. “The story of Naa Saami Ranga happens on Bhogi, Sankranthi and Kanuma. It is set in the 80s backdrop. This is a must-watch movie for the festival.”
Although it is a remake, Nagarjuna affirms director Vijay Binni designed it beautifully without missing the soul from the original. Writer Prasanna Kumar made sure the narrative has Telugu nativity.”
The actor informs Allari Naresh came on board, before Vijay Binni and also disclosed that Raj Tharun’s is a key character in the story.
