November Box Office: Disastrous Is An Understatement!

Suresh Babu, the owner of leading movie distribution chain across Telugu States said that the film business has hit all-time low in November.

According to him most of the theaters remained shut during the week days due to lack of audience.

November is considered as an off-season for Telugu Cinema business, but this year it has been disastrous to say the least.

Big producers didn't even dare to release their movies for Diwali fearing the November lull at the ticket windows.

Tamil dubbed films Khaidi and Whistle were released for Diwali and got benefited by nil resistance from Telugu straight films.

November started off with Vijay Deverakonda's maiden production Meeku Mathrame Cheptha. It was a box office failure in spite of Vijay's marketing tactics.

Ravi Babu's bad form continued with Aaviri and Thippara Meesam from Sri Vishnu ended up big flop.

Sundeep Kishan tried to pull off an Allari Naresh with Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL, but the stale comedy failed to work.

George Reddy couldn't live up to the promise it has shown in its promos. Ragala 24 Gantallo and Tholu Bommalata couldn't even recover publicity costs.

Arjun Suravaram registered better openings to compared to all other November releases. Rajavaaru Ranigaru failed to impress.

There are many other low budget films that released along with the above mentioned films and were gone without getting noticed.

Dubbed films Action and Vijay Sethupathi also didn't click.
