Responding to speculations that Mahesh Babu had rejected the script of "Animal," director Sandeep Reddy Vanga clarified that the script he narrated to the superstar was entirely different.
It must be recalled that after the massive success of “Arjun Reddy," his debut film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was flooded with offers from all the top heroes.
He met and narrated stories and ideas to stars like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Prabhas.
Prabhas was impressed with Vanga’s story and will be doing "Spirit," a crime drama, in 2024. Prabhas plays a cop in the film.
But much before all these heroes, it was Mahesh Babu who had many story sessions with Sandeep Vanga, but eventually, he didn’t agree to any of the stories.
“I didn’t narrate Animal to Mahesh Babu. It was written for Ranbir Kapoor. I told a story named Devil to Mahesh Babu, which was more violent,” Vanga mentioned.
