Vijay Deverakonda has clarified that he is not acting in the Bollywood remake of “Dear Comrade”.
The film’s Bollywood rights were snapped up by Karan Johar after watching the film at a special screening in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Ever since Karan Johar tweeted that he bagged the movie’s Hindi remake rights, speculations have begun that Vijay Deverakonda is debuting in Bollywood with this remake.
VD has now mentioned that he’s not making Bollywood debut with this remake.
“I do have plans of acting in Hindi film but I will make a decision when a right project comes through,” he stressed. “Dear Comrade” has been making the right buzz.
He is trying to expand his base in South India as the film is getting released in all the four South Indian languages.
There are also rumors that VD has temporarily put his sports drama “Hero” on hold. Will he revive it or scrap it? We have to wait and see.
