No more politics please, says Chiranjeevi

Putting rest to all speculations about his political affiliations, Tollywood megastar and former Union minister Chiranjeevi declared that he won’t return to politics again in his life time.

Taking part in a programme hosted by actress Samantha on OTT platform, Chiranjeevi said he had realised that politics won’t suit his mindset.

He was responding to a query as to why he had come back into films, after being in politics for nearly a decade.

“I was away from film industry for about a decade and during this period, I have realised that politics was not his cup of team. However, I have learnt many things during my stint in politics,” Chiranjeevi said.

The megastar made it clear that there was no question of going back into political field once again.

“I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in politics. Even in my next birth, I wish I would be a film actor,” he asserted.

However, Chiranjeevi had a word of praise for his younger brother Pawan Kalyan.

“He is making a lot of efforts to prove himself in politics. I am confident he would get the result for his immense hard work in the coming days,” he said.

He made it clear that he would not join any political party – even Jana Sena Party floated by his brother.

“I will continue as megastar as long as I can,” he said.
