The Covid times are impacting several lives. The jobs are gone and heavy slashing in payments are being observed world wide.
The same applies to film industry also. Many heroes are receiving requests from producers to come down accepting lesser payments.
But one hero seems to be unchanged. The producers are also not making any requests to him. He is Kartik Aryan, the lead in the Bollywood remake of Ala Vaikunthapuramloo.
Young Kartik Aryan, we hear, is getting paid more than Rs 10 crore for his next film, the remake of Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’. The film is set to be directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Clearly the producers have noted that Kartik’s last several films have made profits, except perhaps ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which was best known for his chemistry with Sara Ali Khan.
We have to see how many heroes in Tollywood fall in this bracket.
