Two medium-budgeted movies – Sharwanand’s “Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu” and Kiran Abbavaram’s “Sebastian PC 524” - are hitting the theaters.
Both are looking promising as the trailers offered fun moments. Will these films get the benefit of new ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh?
The Andhra Pradesh government promised to bring a new Government Order by March 1st to help the Telugu film industry. The state government has agreed to hike the ticket prices.
With the untimely demise of Minister Goutam Reddy, the G.O. got delayed. But the latest reports from Amaravathi say the new hiked ticket prices will not come in place for this weekend’s releases.
The government is adamant that Pawan Kalyan’s “Bheemla Nayak” should not be benefitted from the hiked rates. So, the G.O. will come just before the release of “Radhe Shyam”. By then, “Bheemla Nayak” will complete its theatrical run.
So, Sharwanand and Kiran Abbavaram will be losing the benefits due to “Bheemla Nayak”.
