The pre-release event of Nikhil’s national thriller SPY took place today with Naga Chaitanya gracing the occasion as the chief guest, alongside the entire film’s team.
Producer Rajashekhar Reddy recalled a recent incident to explain the dedication levels of Nikhil who gave everything for the movie.
Garry BH thanked hero Nikhil and producer Rajashekhar Reddy for the opportunity and also heaped praises on composer Sricharan Pakala.
Nikhil said that producer Rajashekhar Reddy was the reason for him to do the project. “I went to say no. But once I heard the story, I immediately said yes. The movie was okayed before Karthikeya 2. I’m very grateful to my producer for spending such an amazing budget. Tej Uppalapati is the reason why I met Raju anna. We were supposed to make Swaasa. But it didn’t work out. We thought Garry is the best director for the project. While the first half is excellent, the second half will give goosebumps. I recently worried about the lack of time for promotions, because we made a good film.
The story revolves around Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. I watched the movie 4 days ago. I went and hugged Garry. Abhinav is the life of the film. I’m thankful to Naga Chaitanya for gracing the occasion. Every Indian must watch the film. I wish it will become one of the best movies in my career.”
Naga Chaitanya appreciated Nikhil for his successful journey. “I’m so proud of Nikhil’s journey. It indeed is an inspiring journey. He is carrying SPY on his shoulder. It’s a big challenge to make SPY genre movies. I liked teaser, trailer and also Azaadi song. The production design was top class. Looking forward to watching this film. My best wishes to Garry for his directorial debut.”
