The controversy surrounding Paadutha Teeyaga is well known. Singer Pravasti had made serious allegations against the show's judges — M M Keeravani, Chandrabose, and Sunitha. Her remarks were particularly critical of Sunitha and Keeravani.
Pravasti’s comments split social media into two camps. While some supported her, others, including singers Lipsika and Harika Narayan, defended Keeravani.
Now, the entire issue has taken a new and unexpected turn.
Director Geetha Krishna, known for making sensational statements on YouTube, has leveled shocking allegations against Keeravani. He accused Keeravani of asking for schoolgirls to be brought to him — an extremely serious claim.
Geetha Krishna even demanded that a POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case be filed against Keeravani, claiming he had strong knowledge of the matter.
Reacting to these explosive allegations, music director Koti expressed his disappointment.
"Whether something wrong happened on Paadutha Teeyaga or not, let the parties involved and the media handle it. But personally attacking Keeravani like this — please think about how correct that is. Minor mistakes happen in any program, but creating such a big scene is truly saddening," Koti said.
He further added that Keeravani and Sunitha have reached their positions through immense hard work, and hearing such comments against them evokes both fear and sadness. Koti urged Geetha Krishna to stop making such personal attacks.
With this new Geetha Krishna–Koti episode, the Paadutha Teeyaga controversy has taken another dramatic turn.
Reports suggest that S.S. Rajamouli's family is now preparing to initiate legal action against Geetha Krishna.
