The old timers may not be aware of this but BTS happens to be a world renowned Korean pop band and they have caught up with the Indian youngsters like wildfire. As a result, any event related to BTS comes in theatres as well.
Now, it appears the same BTS is bringing a ray of hope to Tollywood which has been going through its worst phase due to Covid-19.
It is known that theaters have opened in Andhra Pradesh and apprehensions are on as to how public will show interest in going to theatres. Well, here is some good news.
The Korean film ‘Break The Silence’ which revolves around the life and origin of BTS got released in Vijayawada and latest reports reveal it is running packed houses.
The film is running at Urvasi Inox in Vijayawada and response has been overwhelming. As a result, the number of shows has also increased. Same is the case in Vizag as well.
This is indeed good news for other films which are contemplating release!
Bringing the foreign films (at least until the new big films are ready) seems to be a better decision for theatres at present than playing the old films like Bahubali2 and Bheeshma.
