Nayanthara was initially considered for the role in "KGF" star Yash’s new film. However, the makers later approached Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Kareena Kapoor, however, declined the offer due to remuneration and other factors.
Subsequently, reports emerged suggesting that Kiara Advani had been cast. It has now been confirmed that Kiara Advani is playing Yash's love interest, and they are currently filming a song together in Goa.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Akshay Oberoi, who has a minor role in the film, revealed that Nayanthara is also part of the cast. He mentioned that he will be sharing scenes with both Nayanthara and Yash.
Yash is currently working on the film Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas. Apparently, Nayanthara has now taken on the role originally intended for Kareena Kapoor.
