Dr. Naresh Vijayakrishna marked his 50-year milestone with a grand golden jubilee event on August 11, 2024, in Chilkur.
The celebration, which included the inauguration of his countryside residence in Chilkur, brought together a glittering gathering of heroes, actors, directors, producers, family, and close friends.
The grand unveiling of the Vijayakrishna Mandhir and Ghattamaneni Indira Devi Spoorthi Vanam (Inspiration Park) were the major highlights.
The event saw prominent guests, including the Honorable Justice Smt. Surepalli Nanda of the Telangana High Court as the chief guest.
Among the other esteemed attendees were Judge Shree N. Madhava Rao, Assistant Public Prosecutor Shri Surepalli Prashanth, and prominent film personalities including Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon, Jayasudha, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Kushboo.
Dr. Naresh Vijayakrishna shared his vision for the park as a legacy for aspiring filmmakers. The Spoorthi Vanam is set to pay tribute to iconic figures in the film industry, beginning with the inaugural statues of Superstar Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala.
The purpose is to inspire and nurture creativity among emerging writers, directors, and music composers. The future plans for the park include the addition of a film library and museum. Open to fans and the general public, the park aims to be a vibrant hub for artistic growth and appreciation.
At the meet-and-greet reception in the evening, Naresh Vijayakrishna, Pavithra Lokesh, and Jayasudha received accolades from the MAA, complemented by further honors from the Cine Artistes' Association of Maharashtra and esteemed film industry figures like Jackie Shroff, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Kushboo.
The gathering also saw the presence of notable personalities including Hero Sai Dharam Tej, Hero Manoj Manchu, Directors Maruthi and Anudeep, actor Ali, music director Koti, and several leading producers.
The celebration also included the screening of his son Naveen Vijayakrishna’s film Sathya starring Sai Dharam Tej and Colours Swathi, which has won 26 international awards.
