Nagarjuna is coming last in the Sankranthi race with Naa Saami Ranga which will arrive in the theatres in a few hours.
The actor in his exclusive interview with greatandhra.com reveals that they put in their best efforts to bring the movie to the festival because it’s a proper Sankranthi film.
“Although the movie is a remake, we just took the essence of the original and changed it to suit the Telugu sensibilities. We took Sankranthi Prabhalu backdrop which will bring freshness.”
Nag says that they could complete the movie in such a short span because of the perfect planning in pre-production. “We took enough time on pre-production. Satyananda garu helped us with the script work. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada provided the dialogues. Everything was ready before we went to the shoot. That’s why we could complete the movie in such a short time, despite being busy with the Bigg Boss show. This kind of plan will help control the budget as well.”
He says friendship, loyalty, romance, and sacrifice are the main emotions in the movie. “Ashika Ranganath played her part brilliantly. She looks like Anushka Shetty. Allari Naresh and I played orphans and he treats me like an elder brother. My bonding with Naresh is the soul of the movie.”
Nag said after looking for different options, they finalized Vijay Binni as they liked his working style in choreographing songs. “I liked the choreography in Dhanush’s Sir song where he narrated a story in it.”
