While for some actors, the box office numbers matter, there are some other actors who love to do movies that give them critical applause.
Hero Nani opines great films will have strong recall value, though they may not fare well like typical commercial entertainers.
The actor will next be seen in a rustic drama Dasara as Dharani, a villager who steals coal from trains to make a living.
Nani says the character he played in the movie is the toughest to date for various reasons. “The character Dharani in Dasara is the toughest and most challenging one to date. The rawness in the story and the rusticity in my character hooked me.”
Nani had to spend 1 hour on 4 layers of makeup and one hour to remove it. He had narrow escapes from two major accidents while shooting for the movie.
The film Dasara directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri will hit the screens on 30th of this month.
