Nani has announced his upcoming film Hit 3, where he will portray Arjun Sarkar, a police officer. The film will be partially set in Jammu and Kashmir.
While the first film in the franchise, starring Vishwak Sen, was set in Hyderabad, and the second, featuring Adivi Sesh, took place in Vizag, Nani is expanding the third installment on a larger scale.
He plans to shoot it with a bigger budget and incorporate a new setting to enhance its visual appeal.
Director Shailesh Kolanu is also aiming for massive success with this film. His previous film, Saindhav, starring Venkatesh, underperformed at the box office, and he hopes to make a strong comeback with Hit 3.
Although the crime investigation genre doesn’t always resonate well in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Nani believes that the US, urban centers, and OTT platforms will be enough to cover the film’s budget.
