Last month, on September 20, Akkineni family celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), in the presence of many special guests.
The grand event featured the unveiling of a special postal stamp in ANR’s honor.
As part of the celebrations, the Akkineni family announced that the prestigious ANR Award would be conferred upon Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna visited Chiranjeevi’s residence to formally invite him for the ANR Award ceremony.
“This year is extra special as we celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of my father, ANR garu! 🎉 Honoured to invite @SrBachchan ji and Megastar @KChiruTweets garu to the ANR Awards 2024 to mark this milestone! 🙏 Let’s make this award function unforgettable! 🙌” wrote Nagarjuna on his X page.
Both Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi look young and charming in these pictures.
The award ceremony, scheduled for October 28 at Annapurna Studio Annexe 7 Acres, promises to be a memorable affair with a host of celebrities in attendance.
Big B Amitabh Bachchan who previously received the ANR Award would be presenting the award to Chiranjeevi, during the grand gala.
