Naga Chaitanya's Thandel Day 1: Highest In India

Naga Chaitanya's latest outing Thandel has lived up to all expectations, making a strong impact at the box office and is off to great start.

Naga Chaitanya has garnered praise for his compelling performance as a fisherman, with many critics and fans declaring it as his best work to date.

The film's opening day saw a steady increase in audience numbers, with both youth and family viewers flocking to theaters.

Surprisingly, Thandel also saw remarkable occupancy in single-screen theaters, breaking records and securing Naga Chaitanya's biggest opening so far.

A total of 227.7K tickets were sold on BookMyShow in the past 24 hours, marking the highest sales in India, even surpassing the 152.46K tickets sold for Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi. As of now over 400K tickets were sold.

The movie has grossed 20+crore worldwide, making it the highest-earning Telugu film ever released in February.

With strong advance bookings, expectations are soaring for an even bigger turnout on its second day.

Thandel crossed $400 K in the USA, and it is shortly expected to reach half a million mark in the region.

The film's success can be attributed to the blend of a heartfelt love story, the musical magic of Devi Sri Prasad, and Chandoo Mondeti's direction.
