Naga Chaitanya has been experimenting with his roles and choice of films. In director Sekhar Kammula’s “Love Story”, he played a Dalit youngster. His performance in the film won great appreciation.
In “Bangarraju”, he played an out-and-out masala role. Though the film succeeded at the box office, it has not helped him anyway. He is taking a step further in experimentation.
Naga Chaitanya will resume the shooting for a web series in Vikram Kumar’s direction shortly. It is going to be a horror-thriller.
“Dhootha” (messenger) is the title under consideration for it. As the title says, he plays a messenger.
A messenger is a person who speaks to spirits and conveys a message to humans. Naga Chaitanya is quite excited about this role.
The shooting will commence shortly in Annapurna Studios.
