Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra starrer Utsavam directed by Arjun Sai and produced by Suresh Patil is slated for release on the 13th of this month. As the trailer promised, the movie is a celebration of art and it’s about bringing theatre back to life.
Dilip says it was an incredible journey to work with senior actors like Prakash Raj, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, and Brahmanandam.
“It has a wonderful story where the story itself is the hero. I learned a lot from all the senior actors. Regina is a sweet co-actor and she was very helpful.”
The actor expresses his happiness that those who watched the movie call it a feel-good entertainer, and a light-hearted movie.
“Utsavam is a great family drama and has romance as well. The film indeed is a complete package with all the elements to entertain all sections of the audiences.”
While Mythri Movie Makers is releasing the movie in Telugu states, Hombale Films is releasing it in Karnataka, and Cinepolis in North.
“Mythri Movie Distributors Sashi has seen this movie, and he liked the content very much. Hombale Films came forward to release the movie in Karnataka, after watching the movie. Cinepolis is releasing the movie in the North. We feel lucky that such popular production and distribution houses are releasing the film.”
Dilip affirms that the movie won’t be preachy, and the story is narrated entertainingly.
