"I did not have hits since 2012. Every time I thought this is my time, success did not come. Finally it happened in 2021. After Maharshi, I decided not to hurry into doing films. When I was approached with this script, I asked Vijay to do extensive research. Recently a police officer who watched the film appreciated our effort last," Naresh said
"Someone asked Vijay why he is working with a Flop Hero but he mentioned a good story and a talented hero is all that needed for a good film. I appreciate Producer Satish for doing an experiment with a hero with comedy image. I am asking him to continue the same. I will also try to do films that will continue the success streak," he added.
