It is known that Sarangapani Jathakam is set to release on April 18. Directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti, the film stars Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur in lead roles.
Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies, this marks the third collaboration between the director and producer after Gentleman and Sammohanam.
At the release date announcement event in Hyderabad last night, the lead cast and crew made a few interesting statements.
Hero Priyadarshi said he had been aspiring to work with director Mohankrishna Indraganti for 10 years and is finally getting to realize the same with Sarangapani now. He sounded very confident about the content.
The film is a complete Telugu production, with all actors dubbing their own lines. Director Indraganti described it as a fun-filled family entertainer.
He further said no one else but Darshi could’ve played the lead role in this film.
Priyadarshi plays a young man who strongly believes in horoscopes, while Roopa Koduvayur plays the female lead.
Producer Krishna Prasad assured audiences that the film would be a laughter riot. At the same time, he revealed that this film is going to offer a new take on life and horoscopes and will drive people to put up hard work rather than believing in horoscopes.
‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ is expected to be a perfect summer entertainer, going by the team’s words.
The film also features Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala, and Vennela Kishore in key roles.
With music by Vivek Sagar and cinematography by PG Vinda, the film promises wholesome entertainment.
