Ravi Teja's Mr Bachchan, a remake of Ajay Devgn’s Raid with an overdramatic twist, has faltered at the box office during the Independence Day weekend.
The film experienced a significant drop in collections, earning only 1 crore on its third day.
The film debuted with 5.25 crore on its first day, including 1.80 crore from paid previews. However, it saw a 65% decline on Day 2, bringing in just 1.1 crore. The decline continued on Day 3, with only 1 crore in earnings.
Mr Bachchan faced stiff competition from Ram Pothineni’s Double iSmart and the Tamil film Thangalaan, which is performing well.
Additionally, the film is up against other South Indian releases like Vedaa, Khel Khel Mein, and Stree 2.
