Failures teach more lessons than success. Megastar Chiranjeevi is no exception to this statement.
'Sye Raa' producer Ram Charan reportedly incurred Rs.40 cr losses. We can't separate Charan and Chiru so the Megastar is also at the receiving end.
He has reportedly got familiar with the harsh realities of production, wastage of money, etc. with 'Sye Raa'.
Caravan culture is on the rise these days. Apart from the stars, character artists are also demanding caravans for which the producer has to oblige.
The per-day rent of an ordinary caravan is around 7K. If we calculate the total amount for 50 days of shoot, it will be around Rs.3.5 lakhs. It may go up to 7 lakhs.
The producer has to arrange a minimum of half a dozen caravans and the expenditure will touch 50 lakhs.
Well, the story doesn't end here. The producer has to deploy assistants to tell them 'shot ready sir' before the shot. This is also an unnecessary expenditure plus a waste of time.
The Megastar has observed all these things during 'Sye Raa', so he is saying that the trend should change. If the actors sit on the chairs in the set, shooting will see no disturbance and the time will be saved. Caravan expenditure will also be saved.
When heroes become producers then they will know the troubles faced by the other producers.
One has to become a real producer rather than turning producer for the sake of taking profits in the name of remuneration. Then everybody will start teaching good things to the industry like Megastar.
