The failure of Game Changer has devastated Mega fans in general and Ram Charan's fans in particular.
More than the film’s failure, producer Dil Raju’s recent statements and actions have hurt them even more.
In a recent press conference, Dil Raju admitted that he made a mistake by chasing projects with star-studded combinations (such as Ram Charan and Shankar) instead of focusing on content-driven films.
He also supported a statement made by distributor LVR, who claimed that the success of Sankranthiki Vastunam serves as a lesson for Dil Raju—that investing ₹300 crore in a film doesn't guarantee success, as only strong content truly matters.
Fans believe this was a direct dig at Game Changer.
They are furious that Dil Raju has delivered several big flops in the past but never publicly addressed them in the same way.
They also argue that Sankranthiki Vastunam is not a content-rich film but merely a family drama with mindless comedy.
According to them, had the film been released in any season other than Sankranthi, it would have faced a completely different outcome.
Additionally, Dil Raju hinted that the hero’s pressure was the reason for releasing Game Changer’s posters with exaggerated box office figures. This has further enraged the fans.
